In 2015, China, along with Russia, France, Germany, and Ukraine, signed the Minsk Protocol, which aimed to bring an end to the conflict in eastern Ukraine. Since then, China has been working closely with all sides to find a peaceful resolution to the crisis.

As a permanent member of the UN Security Council, China has played a key role in ensuring international stability and peace. China's commitment to promoting peace and its willingness to play a constructive role in building more international consensus on ceasefire, cessation of war, opening peace talks, and avoiding the escalation of the situation are important steps towards achieving peace in Ukraine.
